Position Overview
We’re seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Data Engineer / MLOps Specialist to join our team. If you have a strong background in data engineering, machine learning operations, and are passionate about applying these skills to solve complex problems, we want you. This role involves hands-on work in data ingestion, pipeline development, data storage, building APIs, and deploying ML models into production environments.
What You’ll Do
- Data Ingestion and Preprocessing: Collaborate on sourcing relevant financial and non-financial data, developing processes to collect, clean, and prepare data for analysis as well as creating robust ingestion processes and pipelines.
- Data Storage and Management: Design scalable data storage solutions, maintaining data integrity and optimizing databases to support ML operations.
- APIs and Backend Development: Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless data access and integration with various systems.
- Model Deployment and Monitoring: Deploy ML models into production systems, ensuring seamless integration. Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models, implementing updates and improvements as necessary.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines to support continuous data flow and ML model training.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with data scientists and ML engineers to support the development, deployment, and maintenance of ML models and solutions.
Who Weʼre Looking For
Experience: You have a solid background as a Data Engineer, MLOps Specialist, or similar role, preferably with exposure to financial applications.
Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python, along with proficiency in data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
Data Expertise: Experience in designing and building data pipelines at scale, familiarity with ETL processes, and scalable data storage solutions.
Machine Learning Knowledge: Understanding of machine learning model development and deployment, with familiarity in using machine learning libraries and frameworks in the Python ecosystem (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
APIs and Integration: Experience in developing and maintaining APIs for data access and system integration.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, capable of adapting data engineering and MLOps solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Model Monitoring and Maintenance: Familiarity with monitoring tools and practices to ensure the ongoing performance and reliability of deployed ML models.
Teamwork: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
