IT Manager – Barcelona

This is a search for an investment office located in Barcelona. The IT Manager will report to the Head of Administration and General Services in a mission of installing and maintining all IT systems and networking at full capacity. The ideal candidate will suggest, implement and manage confidential data systems. The role is transversal to many different areas and will need to communicate effectively with different stakeholders.

Objectives:

• Configure workstations and hardware
• Configure/ manage/ install/ update the necessary software and its different access levels
• Maintenance of networking optimizing performance, security, and privacy
• Establish a Cybersecurity policy
• Training and onboarding of new users in all IT tools, installing updates and new systems records.
• Equipment purchases as needed.
• Auditing current systems identifying needs and improving performance toward efficiency

What’s needed

• Bachelor’s Degree related to Software Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Different programming languages skills
• Network management skills

• Programming skills to develop solutions in different company’s business units.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail being able to prioritize multiple tasks
• Effective communicational skills both in Spanish and English
• Results oriented with analytical thinking
