MuleSoft Integration Engineer – Production Support & Wholesale Project
About the role
We are looking for a MuleSoft Integration Engineer to support and evolve the integration layer of a commerce environment, where data flows between ecommerce, OMS, ERP, WMS and external vendors.
The role starts as a production support engagement through Q4. After that, the plan is to move you onto a new project at the same company: expanding its commerce capabilities into wholesale distribution. The knowledge you build during support will shorten your onboarding to that project, since you will already know the client and what is implemented today.
What you’ll do
Production support (through Q4)
- Resolve ServiceNow tickets for issues found in production.
- Contribute to, or lead, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production issues once they are resolved.
- Identify and implement observability improvements.
- Monitor queues and integrations to raise issues early, and fix them where appropriate, before they become critical.
- Create and update documentation on the MuleSoft integrations and capabilities in place.
- Run knowledge transfer and paired work with the client’s internal team, who will take over this coverage long term.
Wholesale distribution project (after Q4)
- Hand off production support to the client’s ramped-up internal team.
- Move onto the new project to extend the client’s commerce platform into wholesale distribution.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on MuleSoft experience (Mule 4, Anypoint Platform, DataWeave), including supporting integrations in production.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and documenting root causes.
- Clear written and spoken English, comfortable running knowledge-transfer sessions and pairing with client teams.
Nice to have
- Development experience in Java and/or Node.js.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow. Equivalent documentation, ticketing or project lifecycle tools are fine; we will onboard you on ours.
- Background in commerce integrations: ecommerce, order management (OMS), ERP, warehouse management (WMS) or vendor data flows.
- Exposure to wholesale or B2B distribution.
