OMS Technical Lead (Fluent Commerce)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled OMS Technical Lead with hands-on expertise in Fluent Commerce to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Order Management System solutions for our clients. This role requires both technical depth and leadership acumen to deliver complex omnichannel commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of Fluent Commerce OMS solutions
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define technical and functional requirements
• Design scalable and performant system integrations with eCommerce platforms, ERPs, WMS, and fulfillment partners
• Lead development teams through implementation sprints, code reviews, and deployment processes
• Provide architectural guidance and ensure solution alignment with client business goals
• Support pre-sales and estimation efforts for new opportunities (as needed)

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Order Management Systems (OMS) implementation
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce (must have)
• Strong understanding of inventory, order orchestration, fulfillment, and returns processes
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and cloud-native environments (preferably AWS)
• Deep experience with REST APIs and event-driven architectures
• Proven ability to lead development teams and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a digital agency or systems integrator
• Exposure to composable commerce platforms (e.g., commercetools, Contentful, Algolia)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and agile methodologies
• Experience supporting multiple clients or projects in parallel
