Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IoT Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of IoT solutions, leveraging technologies such as Linux, Python, and C.
Responsibilities:
− Lead the design, development, maintenance and implementation of IoT solutions using Linux, Python, and C, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
− Oversee the deployment and maintenance of IoT infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services such as Aurora and IoT Core to optimize performance and scalability.
− Manage the integration of hardware devices, including LoRaWAN Sensors, Gateways, WiFi gateways, refrigeration switches, thermostats, thermostat remote sensors, and energy meters, into IoT solutions.
− Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect end-to-end IoT solutions, considering factors such as data collection, transmission, storage, and analysis.
− Conduct code reviews, provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
− Identify and mitigate risks associated with IoT projects, proactively addressing technical challenges and ensuring the security and integrity of IoT systems.
Intelligence Platform:
− Engage with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements, provide updates on project progress, and solicit feedback to drive continuous improvement.
− Architect scalable and reliable IoT systems using best practices and industry standards.
− Develop embedded software and firmware using Linux, Python, C, and other relevant technologies.
− Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of IoT systems.
− Stay up-to-date with the latest IoT trends, technologies, and standards.
− Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IoT solutions in production.
Requirements:
− Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
− +5 years of proven experience in leading IoT projects, with a focus on Linux, Python, and C programming languages.
− Strong understanding of DevOps practices, with hands-on experience deploying and managing IoT infrastructure on AWS.
− Experience integrating hardware devices into IoT solutions, including LoRaWAN Sensors, Gateways, and energy meters.
− Solid understanding of solution architecture principles, with the ability to design scalable and resilient IoT systems.
− Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
− Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project objectives.
− Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
