Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack React/NodeJS)

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust full stack applications, ensuring optimal performance and an exceptional user experience.

The ideal candidate has experience working in product startups, possesses structured thinking abilities, is self-guided, and demonstrates follow-through, the ability to make tradeoffs, and solve technical challenges independently. Experience with Go, Node, React, Next.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, or similar technologies is required.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern frameworks and technologies such as React, Next.js, Nest.js, TypeScript, or similar.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement robust APIs, integrate frontend and backend components, and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Take ownership of projects and tasks and work independently.
• Ability to make tradeoffs when faced with time constraints or competing priorities, while still delivering high-quality work
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to project requirements.
• Deploy applications and implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize system architecture, scalability, and security.
• Solve technical challenges independently, demonstrating the ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and explain reasoning behind decisions made.

Requirements:

• Experience working in product startups, where adaptability and a proactive approach are essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Experience with backend development using Node.js, Go, or similar languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically and analytically.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a self-guided and proactive mindset.
• Strong focus on delivering high-quality code and maintaining coding standards.
• Experience deploying applications and implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
