Tech Lead (TypeScript/ AI)
Our client is developing a next-gen AI-powered scheduling assistant.
As a Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our AI-driven project. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between engineering and key stakeholders, guiding the team, and ensuring that our technology is harnessed to deliver exceptional user experiences. This role is hands-on, and you will lead by example, actively contributing to code while providing leadership and strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Lead by example in software development, leveraging your expertise to build scalable solutions.
- Product Focus: Collaborate closely with the team to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure that engineering efforts align with our product roadmap.
- Team Coordination: Facilitate effective communication within the engineering team, remove roadblocks, and encourage a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented atmosphere.
- Project Management: Ensure project timelines are met, deliverables are of high quality, and resources are allocated effectively to maximize productivity.
- AI Expertise: Apply your knowledge of AI technologies to improve and optimize our system, making it smarter and more efficient.
- Cloud Systems: Leverage your understanding of cloud systems to maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure that supports our AI-powered solutions.
- Learning and Development: Mentor and guide team members, fostering their growth and skill development while staying current with the latest industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a hands-on engineer with in-depth knowledge of TypeScript and cloud infrastructure.
- Prior experience as a Tech Lead or leadership role within a small startup or engineering team.
- Familiarity with AI and GPT technologies, and the ability to apply them effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLM) is a plus.
