UX/UI Designer
Role Summary
This position is primarily responsible for designing and optimizing user experiences (UX) and user interfaces (UI) for Aries Solutions’ client partners’ digital products, including websites, mobiles apps, and software platforms. The UX/UI Designer plays a critical role in ensuring that our products are intuitive, visually appealing, accessible and aligned with both the business objectives and user needs.
This role works with a cross-functional agile team, collaborating closely with product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders. Strong communication and empathy skills are required to translate complex requirements into user-centered designs that drive measurable business outcomes.
This position will help ensure our commerce applications are on the cutting edge and become a benchmark our competitors will strive to emulate.

55% Design & Prototyping
- Create low-fidelity wireframes, high fidelity mock-up, and interactive
prototypes - Apply strong knowledge of navigation, interaction design, and content structure
- Produce conceptual designs and translate them into detailed design deliverables
- Design visually compelling, brand-aligned interfaces across responsive devices
- Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) are met in all design and be able to communicate the requirements to both the client and technical team
- Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability
- In some cases, must be able to assess a provided design system or component library for completeness
30% Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner with developers to ensure feasibility and accurate implementation of designs
- Provide specifications, assets, and documentation for development handoff
- Work closely with product managers and engineering to maintain consistent experience across platforms
- Participate in agile rituals (standups, sprint planning, retrospective) and contribute a strong customer and design perspective
10% Testing & Iteration
- Support usability testing efforts and refine design based on feedback
- Iterative on layouts, flows, and interactions to improve usability and satisfaction
- Validate designs through prototyping and lightweight testing cycles
5% Research & Strategy Participation
- Contribute to user research sessions, persona development, and design strategy activities led by Senior team members
- Provide design perspective during early discovery phases
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience, ideally within digital agency or
e-commerce environments - Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with prototyping tools
- Portfolio demonstrating UX research methods, design process, and final deliverables for web and mobile products
- Understanding of responsive design principles and ability to design for multiple devices and screen sizes
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) sufficient to collaborate effectively with developers
- Excellent communication skills, able to clearly present design rationale and solutions to stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to apply accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
- Experience developing and maintaining design systems, component libraries, and governance
- Develop web applications using mobile-first responsive design
- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
- Performs tasks with little supervision and is self-motivated and self-directed
It’s a plus is you have:- Experience designing within agile or lean UX environments
- Experience designing B2C, B2B, and D2C e-commerce
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a composable commerce or
SaaS environment - Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar) to inform data-driven design
decisions - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to adapt to changing
priorities and technologies
